ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr. Schwarz established LC Bern in 1962 and was the driving force behind it becoming a strong LC in Switzerland.

After University Jurg Schwarz gained extensive management experience as Department Head of Consumer Goods Marketing and the technical Sales-department "Audio & Video" with Philips Zurich. In 1975, he was appointed Managing Director of Polydor AG Schlieren, the Swiss subsidiary of Polygram (now VivendiUniversal) - one of the world leaders in the music business. He managed this company successfully until end of 1981.
At both of these companies he made sure that AIESEC trainees were working there. Philips took AIESEC trainees from 1965 to 1972, and Ploydor from 1977 to 1981.

Specializing in Social Trend Research as a Consultant (PKS and ACE - Anticipating Change in Europe from RISK), Mr. Schwarz consulted several multinationals. He was the Project Manager for the introduction of the Volvo Marketing School in Switzerland and Austria in 1982. Offered the position of Marketing Director for Switzerland by one of his clients, he joined Publicitas at Lausanne. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, he was active as the Project Director of Publicitas Holding (now PubliGroupe) for the re-establishment of this company in the East European countries.

As Federal Expert at the SAWI, guest-teacher at the Universities of Bern, Geneva and the Swiss Army, he acquired extensive experience in teaching. He implemented the first post-graduate program on Industrial Marketing (IGM) at the University of Bern.
For many years Mr. Schwarz was a member of the board of Swiss and Hungarian companies and professional organizations (SRV, SWA, VSF, WEMF). He was the founder and President of the Swiss association "CleverGmbH" and co-founder and board member of the Institute for Mediation since 1994.
Mr. Jurg Schwarz is the member of honor at the Swiss Society of Media and Communication Research (SGKM).

Mr. Jurg Schwarz is currently an independent management consultant and lecturer. He is the owner of Concept Transfer Partner (CTP), which was founded in 1994. CTP is specialized in Board-Training and -Assessment for SMS-companies. Mr. Schwarz is active in consulting on strategy, change management and team development in Switzerland and Germany. He is active as the trainer and coach for Swiss insurance and telecommunication companies.

He is actively contributing to the society also as a member of the Rotary Club Pully, District Assistant Governor and Delegate for Mine-Ex.
