ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr. Guillermo Tavera has extensively supported LC Catolica and MC of Peru through financial means and know-how. He has helped AIESEC to build partnerships with major businesses in Peru, as well as personally financed members to travel to international conferences and local training events.

Mr. Tavera was the driving force behind the creation of AIESEC in Peru’s Alumni Association. He was the founding President of the Alumni Association from 2001 to 2003.

Guillermo Tavera was a founding member of Rotary club in Santiago de Surco Lima. He received a prestigious award the Paul Harris Fellowship Mention for his significant contribution. This award is only given to those who have truly dedicated themselves in order to make a difference. He is among the only 20 individuals in Lima who have received this mention.

Mr. Tavera is currently also the International Service Director for the Rotary Club. He is in charge of facilitating youth exchange, international donations and communication, as well as a being one of the two partners to a neighborhood kitchen, a project that ensures that hundreds of families always have a meal by sharing a common kitchen and the same resources.

He is the founding President of the Peru–Argentina Chamber of Commerce, the social benefactor of the Association “Ayuda con amor” (Help with Love), and the leader of social works in Peru by diplomats (he helps diplomats to choose, start or work on projects for social relief all over Peru).

Mr. Tavera is also involved in the Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW) – project ‘abrigos de la calle’ (street coats). Through his post in the Rotary Club as the International Officer, he is working quite closely with SCAW, by organising drives that gather coats for street kids.
