ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr. Don Lesley set up AIESEC Aberdeen in 1978 and re-established AIESEC Strathclyde/Glasgow
(joint LC). In 1977-1978 he raised personally 34 traineeships in London. He has been on the
Advisory Boards of AIESEC Edinburgh (1980) and AIESEC LSE (1981-1984).
Don has worked closely with AIESEC alumni. He worked with UK alumni organisers in 1987-1991
and was engaged with AIESEC Alumni International 1995-2000.
Mr. Lesley has established an
award-winning recruitment consultancy Beament Leslie Thomas. Founded 15 years ago, Beament Leslie
Thomas has grown to be on of the UK’s leading niche recruitment agencies, well known and respected
in their chosen fields.
Don Lesley is privately involved
in a charity for cancer research and together with his wife (an ex-LCP of AIESEC in Colombia) they
sponsor children in the 3rd world through Action Aid.
