ACHIEVEMENTS
Member of the Board of Directors of AIESEC in the UK, 1994-2002

Mr. Purdie has been central to the UK Board of Directors for many years now and is one of a select body of people responsible for ensuring the continued financial sustainability of AIESEC in the UK.
Together with Paul Varnava, an inductee last year, he has ensured the financial growth and success of AIESEC in the UK’s operations over recent years.

He attended monthly board meetings, AGM (Annual General Meeting) and most of the UK's national conferences, involvement in selection procedure for MC (2001)

As AIESEC Alumni coordinator he put a lot of effort into building the Alumni network and as a result an annual Alumni dinner was established, and possibly the most active alumni association the UK has ever had.

Mentor for the MCP of AIESEC in the United Kingdom

Joined Ford Motor Company in 1990

As employee of Ford Motor Company he has held several roles in both technical and operational areas and has enjoyed a significant amount of business travel to Germany and Spain in addition to the expatriate periods spent in Argentina and India.
