AIESEC Yale's Core Teams

Below is a description of the five "core teams" of AIESEC Yale that carry out all operational activities:

 

External Relations:
The External Relations team (ER) is the networking core of AIESEC Yale.  Typically composed of older members who have experience with AIESEC, the ER team:

  • Manages campus relations
  • Networks with businesses and organizations in the greater New Haven area
  • Develops sponsorship relationships with businesses and organizations
  • Oversees on-campus events
  • Leads marketing initiatives
  • Manages AIESEC Yale’s Public Relations tools and strategies

 

Finance
The Finance team is responsible for managing all of AIESEC Yale’s financial activities, including:

  • Developing and managing budgets
  • Receiving and dispersing funds
  • Building and managing the endowment
  • Developing AIESEC scholarship opportunities

 

Incoming Exchange
The Incoming Exchange team (ICX) leads our interactions with businesses.  By providing the external face of AIESEC Yale to the corporate and non-profit world, the ICX team:

  • Develops and implements sales strategies
  • Negotiates and signs contracts with organizations to bring in international interns
  • Manages the reception and integration of international interns
  • Maintains relationships with professional partners

 

Outgoing Exchange
The Outgoing Exchange team (OGX) is responsible for connecting students with internship opportunities abroad.  As part of the OGX team, members:

  • Build and maintain business relationships with AIESEC chapters across the globe
  • Finalize international internship opportunities
  • Advertise internship opportunities to students
  • Receive applications for and select students to participate in internships

 

Talent Management
The Talent Management team (TM) is responsible for supporting and tracking AIESEC Yale’s members.  As a body that exercises oversight, the TM team tends to be composed of older members who:

  • Manage the recruitment process
  • Track the activity of individual members
  • Provide communication channels between different elements within the organziation
  • Track core team activity and keep the entire membership updated on important developments
  • Develop and maintain the internal culture of AIESEC Yale
