About AIESEC at Georgia Tech

AIESEC at Georgia Tech was started in 1988, and is a Local Committee of AIESEC United States, a non-profit 501(c)3 founded in 1956. It is run and managed completely by university students and recent graduates.

About AIESEC Internationally

AIESEC was founded in 1947 by university students from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. AIESEC's first student exchanges took place in 1947 between students from France and Germany to improve post-WWII relations.

AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organization and is an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential to have a positive impact on society.

AIESEC is present in over 107 countries, provides over 9,000 leadership experiences, and delivers over 470 conferences to our membership of over 50,000 members in over 1700 universities worldwide. AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 8,000 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.
