A word from the current VPX:There is much talk about globalization and internationality these days. Being Vice President of Exchange opens a broad field of opportunities in that direction. Your involvement ranges from a local over national and even to a global level. On the national level you are in contact with the VPXs of other LCs all over Switzerland, discussing specific issues concerning Exchange, organizing and planning Exchange events and finding ways of collaboration. On a global level, contacts with other MCs to advertise internships in Switzerland are of importance. Not to forget, the opportunity to be in contact with Interns from different countries and cultures gives you a wide range of experiences and instructive misunderstandings will improve your cultural understanding. Even on a local level, the job of the VPX is extremely multifarious. On the one side, you are the person to contact concerning the international Exchange program of AIESEC and your duty is to support outgoing EPs to ensure them to have a lifechanging experience abroad. On the other hand you are in contact with the finance team to make sure all invoices are paid, with the ER team to stay informed about incoming internships and requirements of the companies and with the IM team to keep them informed about incoming interns. The re-raising options give you the opportunity to organize company meetings and to find your way into the world of business. The scope of the Exchange Team reaches far beyond the matching of Internships and support of EPs, it includes personal relations on different levels and personal learnings in the field of intercultural learning, time management and organisation.
