Careers Fair 2009

AIESEC-LC-HKU HKUSU has been invited by CEDARS of the University of Hong Kong to set up an information booth in Run Run Shaw Podium on 13th March 2009, sharing with students the numerous learning and careers opportunities available in our Local Committee (LC).

This event allows students in campus to have a glimpse of the many life-enriching opportunities in AIESEC, and to give them a picture of how they can develop themselves into leaders on this international platform. Students were generally interested in our International Exchange Programme and our great diversity of leadership roles.

Since the establishment of a partnership with CEDARS in 2006, our Local Committee has been invited to the annual fair twice.

This year, the annual HKU Careers Fair 2009 has attracted over thirty companies and organizations to organize seminars and booths to help HKU students exploring their careers potential. The theme this year is "Building a Foundation", which is to encourage students equip themselves with the right attitudes, skills and knowledge at work.

The Careers Fair was first held by CEDARS in 2006. It aims to equip students with the knowledge in job-hunting by offering updated information to students about the job market.
