Description
|
To work in teams in AIESEC-LC-HKU HKUSU as team members and contribute to the
performance of the team; to gain hands on experience on AIESEC vision, structure, and operational
work to prepare for the internship exchange. |
To work in companies, NGOs or governments overseas for at least 6 weeks during
summer 2010. |
To work in teams in AIESEC-LC-HKU HKUSU as team members and contribute to the
performance of the team, or take up leadership roles in the Local Committee to further challenge
yourself and learn intensively. |
1.1 You are required to fulfill all aforementioned 3 steps.
1.2 Tasks that you would be engaged in the “Taking Responsibility” stage would be described
briefly in point 2.
1.3 Students joining this programme should depart from Hong Kong on or before
30 June 2010 in order to be considered eligible.

2. Teams and respective job descriptions in brief (Now – Summer)
|
|
Communications
|
- Pitch sales of AIESEC's products – Fund Raising
- Network with externals and advisors – visit advisors, CEDARS, companies, etc,
- Market Analysis – Brand Audit
- Alumni Engagement – Annual Dinner
|
|
|
Finance
|
- Accounting – record financial transactions using Quickbooks, conduct monthly bank
reconciliation, prepare financial reports aligned with HKAS, prepare documents for auditing
- Reward and Recognition – facilitate and approve the implementation of reward and
recognition
- Controlling – monitor financial health of local committee, and advise and control the income
and expenditure of the local committee’s activities, keep track on the implementation of financial
regulations
- Asset Management – keep track on the purchase of merchandises, supervise the use of assets

Information Management
|
- System Development – develop and review relevant IT systems to support operations of the local
committee
- Information Management Education – conduct IM education for the local committee members on the
usage of various IM systems (including knowledge management and relevant IT systems)
- Knowledge Management – identify key process of each functional department, and assist KM
process in other departments
- Strengthen Internal Communication – develop communications plan and implement communications
plan

Outgoing Exchange
|
- Participate in learning events – attend learning events organized by the outgoing exchange
teams on various global issues to prepare for internship exchange
- Goal Setting & Tracking – conduct goal setting sessions with students and review
regularly
- Administration – ensure students comply with the internal standards of AIESEC
|

2.1. You are required to work with respect to the aforementioned job description of the team
which you join.
2.2. The job descriptions of teams could be subjected to changes when necessary
|

3. Consequences for failing to comply with point 1 & 2
|
3.1 The amount of internship exchange deposits would be forfeited (HKD1000).
3.2. Loss the chance of going on internship exchange during summer 2010.

4. Other remarks
|
4.1. The amount of exchange deposits (HKD1000) would be collected before the interview and
selection.
4.2. AIESEC-LC-HKU HKUSU possesses final rights to interpret the mentioned terms.
